Our Commitment to the Environment

We’re trying hard to keep the reefs of Lembongan, just the way they are! We actively participate in local environmental initiatives, such as beach and underwater clean ups and this year have started putting together a Big Fish database of the local manta ray population.

Thorough briefings are given on the way out to the dive sites, covering safe and environmentally friendly dive practices. After all dive trips, our guides and instructors sit down with their divers to fill in log books, and we have plenty of fish ID books to feed enthusiasm for the marine life sighted on the dive.

Every Wednesday at 19:30 in the Big Fish Yoga Shack, we give a talk about the local marine life around the Nusa Penida marine protected area.

The theme changes each week and talks are given by instructors and dive shop owners from all over the island. Come and join us, for tons of fascinating facts, photos and stories about the “Big Fish of Lembongan!"
