Made is an islander with a very colourful personality and a great many experiences to draw from. Ten years ago he began running surf tours over to Lombok and later opened a restaurant and bungalows on Lembongan. Then in 2004 he took over Drift Divers - the second ever dive shop on the island. Made has been skippering boats and sailing his whole life and now is responsible for the Big Fish "fleet". Made still captains the dive boat occasionally and if you're lucky enough to be out with him, you'll be guaranteed a good time!
Linda helps in the office and is Made's eldest daughter. A whiz on the computer, she also runs the small internet café inside the dive shop. Linda is rarely seen without her 2 year old Chihuahua, Pixie, and keeps everyone entertained with her humour and lively personality.
Gede is our senior Divemaster. He has worked on Nusa Lembongan as a dive guide for 7 years, and is originally from Singaraja, North Bali. Gede has made thousands of dives around Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida and before that, worked in Lombok. His friendly attitude and sharp eyes underwater make him popular with customers and with so much experience, you couldn't be in better hands!
Merog is a big asset to the dive shop. Officially, he runs the Big Fish compressor and helps maintain the dive equipment, but in actual fact he does so much more - from finding a spare O ring or organising the boat lunches, to cleaning the beach; it's normally Merog who is there to help. When not working, he is often out fishing or surfing the local breaks.
Calm, friendly Kadek is Big Fish Diving's main boat captain. His skilful driving makes even the exposed ride down to Manta Point an enjoyable experience. Kadek was born and bred in Lembongan and comes from a family of fishermen and captains. He has worked with us and Drift Divers for more than two years.
Ketut used to work on a surf boat before coming to work for Drift Divers and now Big Fish. His is the smiling face you see on the dive boat, helping you with your equipment or passing around the water. Ketut is from Lembongan and is now married with two children.
