From Mainland Bali
Nusa Lembongan is easily accessible from Bali and all boats leave from Jalan Hang Tuah at the North end of Sanur beach. Ticket offices for all boats can also be found on this road. Dunkin Donuts on Jalan Hangtuah has the last ATM before the harbour. Please be aware that there are no ATMs on Nusa Lembongan so you will need to bring enough money with you for your stay.
Public Boat
For those wanting the cheapest option, jump on the Public Boat which leaves at 08:00 and 10:30 daily. The trip takes approx 1¼ - 2 hours depending upon the currents and time of year and costs Rp 60,000 for the earlier boat and Rp 80,000 for the later one. Return public boats leave Nusa Lembongan from Jungut Batu beach at 08:00 daily for Rp 60,000. Buy your ticket at least 20mins before departure.
Perama Boat
Perama is the largest travel company on Bali which also uses traditional boats, but offers a less crowded ride. The trip costs Rp 100,000 each way and is great if you need onward connections across Bali and Lombok. Have a look at their website for more details. For Perama, booking the day before is advisable.
Public Speed Boat
There is a local fast boat which leaves Sanur at 09:00 and 16:00 and Lembongan at 10:30 and 15:00 daily. It costs just Rp 150,000. This takes approx 30 minutes and tickets can be booked from many accommodation providers on the island. Coming over to Lembongan, you generally do not need to buy tickets in advance (though this is perhaps advisable from July to September). Boats leave Sanur at 16:00. The public speed boat is run by a group of Lembongan families, who take it in turns to run the service.
Rocky Fast Cruises
If you want to arrive in style, you can take advantage of the Rocky speed boats which transport customers from Sanur to Lembongan and back, 3 times a day. These fibreglass boats offer cushioned seating and a bottle of water for customers. The journey takes only 30mins and includes a free pick up and drop off service for south Bali.
