Scuba divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most rewarding and fun course they have ever taken. You learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and therefore become more confident in your skills as a diver
With PADI Open Water and PADI Advanced Open Water course you are very much focused upon your own diving skills. Yet you are now required to think about others while underwater. PADI Rescue course skills include assisting a panicked diver, dealing with an unconscious diver, missing diver searches and providing emergency oxygen. We try to intersperse theory sessions and skills training with realistic yet fun scenario practice. This practice will therefore leave you confident that you are capable to deal with a range of dive related emergencies and problems.
During PADI Rescue course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.

- Number of Days: 4
- Number of Dives: Multiple confined water and 4 ocean dives
PREREQUISITES
- Certified as PADI (Junior) Adventure diver who has completed The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive
- EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months. This training may be completed along with Rescue Diver Course
- PADI Open Water Diver may participate in Knowledge Development and Rescue Exercises in confined water
- Be medically fit
- 12 years of age
