Island Life: Nusa Lembongan is often referred to as being like Bali 20 years ago. You’ll find bustling local communities, daily ceremonies, village kids playing on the beach, the fishing catch coming in each morning and welcoming smiles everywhere you go.


Dining Out: Whilst you aren’t going to find a McDonalds or a Pizza Hut on Nusa Lembongan, there is no shortage of places to eat. Choose from local “warungs” offering fresh, grilled fish through to boutique eateries offering western plates and if you want to treat yourself there’s even a Michelin starred chef on the island!


Exploring Nusa Lembongan: Unlike Bali, Nusa Lembongan doesn’t have highways and everything is within easy reach of Big Fish Diving. If you want to explore more of the island it’s possible to rent a scooter and drive around the island’s winding roads or we can arrange a tour for you with a guide, in an open air truck.


Beaches: Nusa Lembongan boasts a number of great beaches. Our local beach of Jungut Batu is the longest beach and is a hive of activity with dive boats, small fishing boats, children playing and deliveries arriving. Dream Beach is a stunning, small white sand cove with aquamarine water and stunning views. Mushroom Beach is another white sand beach and a great place to chill out in one of the beach side cafes with an ice cold drink.


Views and Sunsets: Take a trip to the top of the hill on Nusa Lembongan and you’ll be blown away by the panoramic views over the island and across to Mount Agung on mainland Bali. Nusa Lembongan’s sunsets are legendary. Watching the sky change colours from blue through bright orange and hot pink is the perfect way to end the day after diving.
